West Hartford Police Station

Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc. has designed renovations and additions for this police facility to take advantage of space vacated after the relocation of an adjacent Superior Court. The newly enlarged floor area is 60,000 square feet and includes a modern communications center, new detention and processing facilities, an expanded drive-through sally port and a new public entrance and main desk.  Comprehensive renovations were completed for all existing interior spaces and systems including heating, ventilation, lighting, power, and data; interior finishes are being upgraded as well.  Kaestle Boos Associates also executed a space needs analysis before commencing the building design.
