Holden Public Safety Facility

Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc. evaluated more than 25 sites for the location of a new Public Safety Facility that will house Holden’s Police, Fire, EMS, Ambulance, and combined Dispatch and Emergency Operations Center. The new facility will be located on the site of the existing fire station which will also be renovated for public safety use as well as for use by other Town offices. The fire station includes 3 double-deep apparatus bays and one back-approach apparatus bay, living and sleeping quarters, decon and SCBA areas, turnout gear rooms and storage. The police station includes a 2-bay sally port, prisoner processing area, private interview rooms, and secure evidence processing area. The departments will share the public lobby, community room and communication/911 dispatch area. The new facility is currently under construction.
